‘Ruinous smoke’

‘A young, stupid kid who committed that terrible crime. I want to talk to him. I want to try to talk some sense to him. Tell him the way things are. But I can’t, that kid is long gone. This old man is all that is left. '

Hearing voices is not the problem…isolation is.

Regarding the uptick in violence committed by children, and violence against children, my dharma would not allow for me to remain silent. I long internally debated how to appropriately present this particularly sensitive topic. Taking into consideration the emotive nature of this topic, and the current state of affairs in modern American society, I have chosen the brahministic path of instruction.

Finger pointing is pointless, for every last one of us is complicit, guilty & responsible for our current meta-physical situation. This ‘public service announcement’ in the form of a blog series is my dharma in action.

Truth is neither soft nor kind. It simply is. Law. Karma is cosmic, and even nations carry negative karmas that they must eventually work through…a ‘dweller’ of sorts. If you happen to be unfamiliar with the term, you may learn more here.

For this blog piece, I will be referencing two other literary works from prominent Theosophical authors. This topic was fundamental and pivotal in my personal development, and surely I had to experience it all for a reason. That reason was awareness raising of the general public. I have included links to the source material as well as the specific chapters for your independent review of argument.

Emotions are vibrational & magnetic in nature.

Since the very beginning of this blog series, I have been priming the readers with a common structure and vernacular to begin discussion of some of the higher topics of Theosophy. In this endeavor, that has been my only goal. Upon the subject of the elementary, the American audience in particular should take special concern.

Remember, in a previous blog post I mentioned ‘a voice’ that intervened upon my thoughts. A theosophist, as part of our spiritual training, will come to recognize in man two separate & distinct sets of senses.

Not all voices you perceive though are divine or have noble intentions. Furthermore we also stress, to NOT seek these entities out NOR attempt to disturb or contact the dead. Generally speaking, seeking these entities has no benefit, but is very rich in risk. I will not delve to much into this topic, but I will comment upon the dangers only.

Find below, two quotes upon the topic of the ‘elementary.’ I have provide direct access to the source materials as well. This was done for your further independent study. Please remember that commenting for this blog series is permanently disengaged. When you are ready to begin adult discussion, I addressed that in the first blog. You can find it here.

‘Man & His Bodies’

Chapter 4: The Astral or Desire Body

‘These are entities of higher and lower types existing on that plane, given birth to by the thoughts of men; and there are also in the astral world depraved men, imprisoned in their astral bodies, known as elementaries. The elementals are attracted towards people whose astral bodies contain matter congenial to their nature, while the elementaries naturally seek those who indulge in vices such as they themselves encouraged while in physical bodies. Any person endowed with astral vision sees, as he walks along our London streets, hordes of loathsome elementals crowding round our butchers' shops; and in beer-houses and gin-palaces elementaries specially gather, feasting on the foul emanations of the liquors, and thrusting themselves, when possible, into the very bodies of the drinkers. These beings are attracted by those who build their bodies out of these materials, and such people have these surroundings as part of their astral life.’

‘The Ocean of Theosophy’

Chapter 6: Kama—Desire

‘It is the “devil” of the Hindus, and a worse enemy the poor medium could not have. For the astral spook—or Kamarupa—is, but the mass of the desires and passions abandoned by the real person who has fled to “heaven” and has no concern with the people left behind, least of all with seances and mediums. Hence being devoid of the nobler soul, these desires and passions work only on the very lowest part of the medium’s nature and stir up no good elements, but always the lower leanings of the being. Therefore it is that even the spiritualist themselves admit that in the ranks of the mediums there is much fraud, and mediums have often confessed, “the spirits did tempt me and I committed fraud at their wish.”

This Kamarupa spook is also the enemy of our civilization, which permits us to execute men for crimes committed and thus throw out into the ether the mass of passions and desires free from the weight of the body and liable at any moment to be attracted to any sensitive person. Being thus attracted, the deplorable images of crimes committed and also the picture of the execution and all the accompanying curses and wishes for revenge are implanted in living persons, who, not seeing the evil, are unable to throw it off. Thus crimes and new ideas of crimes are willfully propagated every day by those countries where capital punishment prevails.’

If you have made it to this point in this blog series, then some idea of ‘identity layering’ has previosly been presented to you. The Septenary Principle, or the idea that Man & The Universe are both composed of seven distinct principles, is fundamental to understanding some of the more complex mysteries of our human selves. The simplest version is the trinity commonly known as mind, body and soul.

In case you are wondering, I’m writing this piece, and not the robot. However, it will assist in editing as usual. For the record, again, it writes what I direct it to write.

I have made a point of providing a bookshelf (below) to provide a set of common knowledge for you, us, me, we to debate and articulate ideas for ‘our collective & mutual understanding.’

In our belief, a man is not his body. A body is a mere vehicle which he did not make for himself. I could go into ‘man is not his senses’ and so on, but we are singularly concerned with the body. For what purpose does it exist, and more importantly who produces this physical form.

Modern scientist are beginning to conclude that there is no real differentiation between matter & energy if you look at the whole universe as vibrational in nature…a wave…a never beginning and never ending wave. Waves have frequencies we know this by observing colors and hearing sounds. The human heart keeps a cyclical cadence of 40 to 70 beats per minute. Anywhere you observe cycle, you also observe a wave.

Now energy seems to run on a cross axis of electricity & magnetism, modern scientist call this ‘Electromagnetism.’ In Theosophy we call the same thing ‘Fohat.’ The difference is in what you see when you observe it. If you view electromagnetism from a purely mechanical sense in that ‘I can harness this for power in the form of electricity’; then of course, ‘Electromagnetism’ sounds great.

Now, on the other hand, if you see the same thing, electromagnetism,’ and you see the capacity to move things, then you might call it ‘Magnetelectricism’ or ‘Magnet Electricity.’ Well the ancients called it ‘Fohat.’ The Force of Creation itself, that is both electric and magnetic in its nature.

‘Fohat’ is the animating principle electrifying every atom into life.

Here we are not, at the moment, interested in the electrical aspects. No, we are interested in the magnetic aspects. If you could control magnetism in all objects with a thought, how hard would it be to construct, let us say the pyramids of Egypt? Long answer ‘pretty easy.’ Short answer ‘pfft.’ That’s control at or near vibrational level and if you could control the one, magnetism, you can probably can control the other, electricity, as well. Sound pretty cool? Edward Bulwer Lytton sure thought so. A theosophist in action if not by name (you can find him on our bookshelf).

Our conclusion should be that the human form is both magnetic & electrical in its nature, and the Universe is as well. But we also said that The Universe and Man are both divided into seven distinct fields, frequencies, focal points, globes, shetras or whatever you fancy.

Now enter the elementary.

The Yaqui teachings of Don Juan stresses that ‘awareness’ can be both organic (rupa / with form) or inorganic (arupa / without form). This is important. This same body of knowledge states that ‘the universe is predatorial in its nature.’ After observing enough real life incidents of ‘Wild Kingdom,’ I can concur.

The elementary is the ghostly remnants of a person’s desires. In my opinion, they generally serve as a function of societal decay. They behave & act instinctually as any other organism would, but unfortunately they prey upon people, just like you. They don’t hunt you to kill you, they hunt you to live again vicariously through you, and then possibly kill you or get you killed, but definitely abandon you to the consequences of your mutual actions. Their tricks? They don’t need tricks with an emotionally insecure, and identity fragile society. As friction increases through poverty and crime, their activity will increase. Since misery loves company, there numbers shall increase as well.

So, let me make myself clear here. They feast on emotional turmoil. Loneliness, anger, lust, greed and sorrow. The elementary is attracted by emotion & behavior of the erratic kind, the unstable. The elemental on the other hand is attracted to the materials you consume. Both are attracted to your field. Only one can cause immediate danger through its sheer proximity.

The shetra or field is populated by a multitude of consciousness, which we shall limit it to three.

The Man,

The Elementary

The Elemental.

We have saying, some might take as a jest but we do mean it. That saying is ‘everything in the universe is a man, was a man or is waiting to become a man.’

If man is made from elements it is reasonable to believe, that some part of the elements are also part of man himself then. We considered the physical body to be completely composed of elements and thus through their contribution and direction, we are able to use them…these bodies. Those builders we call the ‘fiery lives.’ In Star Wars, they called it midi-chlorians. In Vedanta they call it Prana.

So basically some other consciousness built the physical form by design. Those engineers, those are your elementals…nature forces. Nature, that’s important to the equation.

Break Point

I’m not going to call anyone weak willed or point the finger at anyone. I’m not one of those evangelist saying find the lord. I am a person intimated with this knowledge on a personal level. I will tell you this.

They can not latch on to what is not there…only what is. I myself was very angry. I had to work at finding out why.

They can not fill a vessel that is already full. Only you know what is inside of you. If you are full selfishness, rage and malice…you will find that end or something fitting. Because the actions normalize until one day what you see as normal another person sees as frightening. This is America, gun country, you can conclude the intended outcomes from the elementary point of view.

What we call mayhem & disaster is ‘one fucking rager’ to the elementary. So, they are very creepy and they may or may not like you. You see there handiwork all over this ‘Epstein’ & ‘Puff Daddy’ messes. I told you, they normalize ‘that’ behavior.

Now, I think you may more deeply understand the purpose of ‘the dweller’ construct in philosophy. A imaginary tool for a real meta-physical situation. The man or woman that is in control of himself and certain of who he or she is well immunized against these external tempters. And that is all they are until, they gain possession of a physical form. And that is their only mission.

‘There are three kinds of men in this world, Duryodhana. There are the selfless ones, who seldom leave the path of dharma. Then there are those who seek their own benefit in whatever they do. Even it that is your nature, you should think wisely, of what will profit you. Death surely will not.’

‘There is also the third kind of man. He lives to sin, because nothing else pleases him; his unnatural thirst is satisfied only with blood. Duryodhana, you are not that kind of man, are you?’

Krishna confronting Duryodhana before The Court of Hastinapura

If you insist that man is just a physical form, then I am truly sorry for you. For you can not be helped. You have already defeated yourself by clinging to materialism in the face of an opponent that is immaterial.
