In the epic poem, Mahabharata, the world’s finest & greatest kshatriyas (warriors & kings) assembled to the decide the fate of the world though combat. Some of those participants were called rakshasa, otherwise known to western minds as demons. It is to be understood that both armies present at Kurukshetra enlisted rakshasi into their ranks. The Pandava’s had the son of Bhimasena. This son, who was half rakshasi, was named ‘Ghatotkacha.’

Ghatotkacha was nothing less than a terror on that ancient field of Kurus. When Ghatotkacha died by Indra’s astra which was fired by Karna…all of the Pandava army wept for the sun of Bhima…except one.
Krishna danced in celebration, in pure jubilation and ecstasy. You see Krishna was master a strategist…and the death of Ghatotkacha (his second cousin) signaled the end of the Kuru campaign in the Avatara eyes. He traded one life (Ghatotkacha) for another (Arjuna).
Ghatotkacha fearlessly gave his life for the cause of his uncles and father…the Pandavas.
‘The War on the Crack in the Age’ was orchestrated by Krishna for the sole purpose of wrapping up some loose ends before the dawn of this new age. Wickedness plotted to advance into this age…Krishna and his devotees, The Pandavas, made certain that did not happen. In fact the kshatriya class is always being…refined.
This series will not be about, Ghatotkacha, Kurukshetra or even really the Mahabharata we have been discussing. This series is more technical, a proper introduction to what we call ‘The Septenate’ or ‘The Seven-fold Constitution.’
The Septenary Principle
The Septenary Principle refers to the primacy of number seven in the manifested cosmos. Number seven is prominent in many ancient traditions. For example, in Christianity there are the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, seven deadly sins, the seven sacraments, the duty to forgive seventy times seven that Jesus indicted to Peter, among others. The Book of Revelation also has many septenaries. In Hinduism there are seven sages (Saptarishi), seven shaktis, seven chakras, seven lokas and talas, and many more. Other septenates in the Western antiquity are the seven classical planets, seven seas, seven sages of Greece, seven Kings and Emperors of Rome, seven hills of Istanbul and of Rome Seven Liberal Arts, Seven Wonders of the ancient world.
Thank you Theosophy Wiki. You may have noticed that the number eight is outside the realm of seven. It has been the posture of my fore-bearers to considered the Eight principle as taboo, a subject off limits to open discussion.
I have no such reservation. I find this information’s usage to be more practical early on in the implementation of a neophyte’s working knowledge.

The Eight Sphere
With out over complicating what it really is, first a blunt analogy. The Eight Sphere is quite plainly a ‘spiritual garbage dump.’ I’m not going to dress it up in mystery or mysticism.
If you were to make a cake, you will need materials. A cake mix, oil, water, eggs, water, and icing. You will need tools. A bowl, a mixer perhaps, a pan, an oven, a plate, a spatula and eventually a trash can. After you have made the cake you will need to clean up after yourself, you get the point.
In any process of creation, baking, music, art, design, there will be parts discarded. That is what ‘The Eight Sphere’ is…a spiritual trash bin. A focal point of rejection, sorrow, anger, vengeance, selfishness…negative acts & energy to which consciousness can gravitate and attach itself to.
The danger to spiritual travelers is not knowledge itself of this ‘Eight Sphere,’ but the proclivity of some students to venture, and align themselves there…intentionally. The specimens in the above sampled video, and even the lyrics themselves are a testament to that very alignment.
If Man is a reflection of the Universe, and ‘The Eight Sphere’ exists in that Universe, it must also therefore exist in Man. This is an accepted fact in our philosophy and a necessary part for our shared & mutual spiritual evolution…some things unfortunately must be discarded. A theosophist must understand this clearly. No path is without its dangers.

You can’t talk about ‘The Eight Sphere’ without bringing up ‘The Moon.’ So let me sum it up for you. The Earth is the reincarnation of The Moon. The Moon being the shadow of The Earth. People are jealous by nature…apparently so are planets. At least according to our philosophy.
The Moon is like the toddler who is jealous of a new born sibling. Once the sole focal point of attention, but no longer the ‘new’ thing.
