Somebody once said to me, “But you like them bad!”
For a time in my life, that was very true.
This piece grew out of the Gutter Gurlz concept and one of its defining lines:
Bad Gurlz Need Gear Too!
That phrase became part attitude, part identity, and part excuse to build artwork around women who were never meant to look polite or predictable.
Andre took that idea and gave it exactly the kind of energy it needed.
And really, the tagline still holds up.
Bad Gurlz need gear too. And they do. From us!
