Uh oh. Somebody’s about to get a spanking, and somebody else looks entirely too interested in watching.
At the front of this site I use a line attributed to Krishna:
“I am the gambling of the cheats.”
I’ve always liked what sits underneath that idea. Divine reality isn’t limited to the polite, respectable parts of existence. Vice and virtue, temptation and restraint, pleasure and consequence, all of it exists inside the same universe.
In other words: you humans haven’t invented anything particularly shocking.
And Krishna, depending on which tradition you’re reading, had thousands of wives.
